Global Alliuris Conference in Hamburg
Hamburg, 14.06.2025 | The Alliuris General Meeting 2025 took place in Hamburg from 13 to 14 June. Herfurth & Partner have organised the Summer Conference and was delighted to welcome guests from Europe, India and the USA.
The current political situation is characterised by war and tariff conflicts. Due to this and the location of the meeting in Hamburg, also known as Germany’s gateway to the world, the conference focused on international trade. The presentations included the current tariff war between the USA and China and the USA and the EU, free trade agreements of the EU and on how to draft international supply contracts in times of trade wars, including INCOTERMS, Force Majeure and other material adverse changes. On top of which, Alliuris welcomed Dr. Jan Albers from the Hamburg law firm Segelken & Suchopar as a guest speaker who gave an introduction to maritime law.
It was again enriching to discuss directly current economic, political and social developments in important regions like USA, India and Turkey.
