Hanover, July 20th 2015 | The term Industry 4.0 stands for one of the largest industrial challenges for companies and the society. It does not deal with the question if a company participates in Industry 4.0 as a project but how it deals with the challenges of this global development of “Integrated Industries”. Herfurth & Partner is familiar with questions regarding the technical connection within a value creation chain of counselling of international production companies.
Industry 4.0 intervenes with many segments and disciplines within companies. Therefore we invited a group of experts to look at developments foresightful and interdisciplinary: production, mechanical engineering, IT, risk-management, finance, customers, staff, law and tax. The parties involved belong to research institutes, universities and counsels that examine the topic called “Indy 4” and highlight the domains from different perspectives. The first result is now available as “Eckpunktepapier”. It contains numerous approaches for a handling that exceeds mere technical questions of this topic. It should not be recognized as a final result but rather as an entrance to further observation, research and analysis where companies can deviate from concrete recommendations to act and provisions.
